Fond du Lac Avenue/State Highway 45

In 2024, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will be resurfacing the existing asphalt pavement on US 45 (Fond du Lac Avenue), from County Highway H to State Highway 28, in the Village of Kewaskum.  Their project also includes upgrades to the signals at County Highway H and improvements to pedestrian curb ramps.

In conjunction with the WisDOT's project, the Village of Kewaskum will be reconstructing the Water and Sanitary Sewer laterals on Fond du Lac Avenue.

Timeline

• July 8, 2024 - Tentative WI DOT resurfacing start date

• June 27, 2024 - DOT Informational Meeting at the Firehouse, 4PM to 6PM 
• March 11, 2024 - Tentative construction start date
• February 26, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. - Village Board meeting with presentation from Village Engineer, bid to be awarded and public hearing on assessments
• February 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. - deadline to receive proposals for water and sanitary sewer construction, bid proposals will be opened
